Start: September 2018
Beacon ACE Academy is part of the Atlantic Centre of Excellence Multi Academy Trust. Our friendly school is a 2-form entry with over 400 pupils on roll. We are a nurturing school, where every child is encouraged to “Shine brightly”. Strong links with the local community and the other schools within the Trust, along with skilled, dedicated staff make this an exciting and rewarding school to be part of.
We seek enthusiastic and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join our team of skilled HLTAs. We require an EYFS HLTA and a KS1/KS2 HLTA.
The HLTA will complement the work of the teachers, by taking responsibility for the delivery of agreed curriculum areas in order to allow class teachers to access their PPA time and be released for leadership responsibilities. These roles involve the planning, preparation and delivery of lessons to whole classes where the teachers are not present.
The successful candidates will be expected to meet HLTA national standards or hold equivalent skills, expertise or experience. Excellent numeracy/literacy skills equivalent to NVQ level 2 in English and Maths, and IT skills sufficient to advance pupils' learning are essential for these positions.
ACE Academy Trust has a commitment to safeguarding children and the successful applicants will be required to undergo checks including an enhanced DBS disclosure.

Our Services allows schools to embed code which may potentially contain cookies. Please note embedded content, if displayed on one our websites, has been added by the school and not by eSchools. The embedded content added by the school may require additional cookies or tracking technologies to be enabled in order to function.
